Introduction :

“EEE” Bernoulli's Theorem Apparatus is a self contained, compact set up which helps in verifying Bernoulli's Theorem for liquids. It consists of a supply and delivery tanks between which water is allowed to flow through a horizontal Perspex channel, of varying cross sections. Pressure heads can be noted from piezometer tubes fixed on the channel. Supply from the pump is taken by flexible piping and drain could be given to the diversion arrangement for discharge measurement. Overflow and drain arrangement is provided for the supply and delivery tank. A scale for height measurement and stop clock is supplied with the apparatus.

“EEE” Pipe Friction Apparatus is a self contained, compact set up which helps in studying thecoefficient of friction in various types of notches.It consists of a supply tank with necessary piping. Supply from the pump is taken by flexible piping and water is delivered to the set up through a control valve and a Rotameter. Rotameter is mounted on a frame for flow measurement. After measuring the water discharge at specific time intervals, water in main tank can be released into drain tank by opening the valve provided.Water is allowed to flow through pipes of varying diameters and of different materials, alternately and head loss due to friction is measured by using manometer.
